Rhode Island had a food truck before most places had cars: Haven Brothers has parked by Providence City Hall as a late-night diner on wheels since 1893. Down the coast, Shuckin' Truck in Narragansett serves oysters from its own farm, Newport Chowder Company ladles a family recipe from 1985, and A Mano bakes Neapolitan pizza in an oven imported from Italy.
